Organic Chamomile Loaf Soap

An ode to Chamomile. German chamomile (Matricaria chamomilla) has a herbaceous scent with sweet, apple-like undertones. It carries a slightly earthy, honeyed aroma. Some also detect a subtle, almost fruity depth, making it a soothing and grounding fragrance, often used in aromatherapy for relaxation and stress relief. One of our favorite herbs on the homestead, chamomile belongs to the Asteraceae (daisy) family and is commonly used in herbal medicine, teas, and skincare. Its flowers contain beneficial compounds like chamazulene and bisabolol, which contribute to its anti-inflammatory, calming, and soothing properties.
